Very special place to stay with a group of friends and family
We enjoyed a wonderful week in the chateau with a group of friends and family and it really was lovely. The house is grand and full of character with big high ceilings and amazing decorative pieces in every room. There is a great big dining room to enjoy big dinners together and a large but cozy salon for spending time together. The house is very old so with that you get unique character but also it really isn’t modern inside. But really the absolute best thing about the property is the garden, terrace and the pool area. The gardens are beautifully kept and full of gorgeous flowers, and overlook the lush forested valley. The pool area is just what you want for lazy days in the summer. The set up of the rooms worked for a mixed group: one family room with 4 beds and a cot then a mix of doubles and a single bedroom. The owners live in the same property and there is another building that is rented out so you are not completely private but as the stone house is so big and with thick walls we never felt like we weren’t secluded. I would highly recommend to stay here with a big group.

Jour de l'An
