"From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent and the staff are very kind. Everything was very clean and kid friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone. "

"We rented a 4 person cabin and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it included 2 separate small bedrooms plus a common area, which provided the privacy that our family needed. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and it was well stocked with towels, blankets, and toilet paper. The service was excellent as the manager checked in to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We stayed in the winter and I was glad that our cabin was heated. The cabin would be great for a family in the summer as there is an outdoor swimming pool, tether ball, tire swing, picnic tables and a barbecue. There is also a stream (Barton River) behind the swimming pool that would be fun for kids to play in on a hot day."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will try to return next year. However, we did not enjoy the hike up the steep, narrow stairs lugging all our stuff to our 3rd floor room!"

"This is a quaint hotel in the middle of a quaint mountain town that has plenty of shops and restaurants and is close to so many activities and attractions. We were so impressed with the hotel and area that we stayed an extra day and even booked another stay in April."

"Stunning location! This feels like a home that a family has been very happy to have for decades and they've decided to share some of the joy and coziness of the property with others. The property is well maintained and situated on a peninsula on a lake that is gorgeous even when completely frozen. As soon as we got through the door we could immediately relax. Wonderful fireplace, comfortable beds..we were happy with this choice. "
