"Always a peaceful quiet place to visit. Love sitting by the lake visiting with friends. The rooms need sprucing u as far as cleanliness. Bathroom tiles, floor boards and blinds needed a good cleaning. We had the breakfast buffet about an hour or so after it started. The eggs and potatoes needed replacing. "My wife and I stayed one night at the Babcock House in order to visit the Appomattox Court House. Room was nicely done with a great bathroom with walk-in shower and full bath. Area is quiet and we did a short walk to the nearby train station. Dinner was exceptional."
