We would definitely stay here again and have it bookmarked for our next trip to visit family. It's comfortable for a small family and a quick trip to all of the people and places we visit when we come to Lynchburg.
As with any vacation rental, there are little quirks - we forgot to pack garlic powder for a recipe and found that the host had stocked the basics (yay!). Later, we had to get creative (we went to Goodwill) to cook bacon as all the pans were too small for that particular breakfast plan, but otherwise we had everything we needed for preparing meals, a place to play board games in the evening, and comfy beds to sleep in.
It's a charming old bungalow with beautiful (and sometimes noisy) old floors and doors. Our stay coincided with an exceptionally windy week in Lynchburg, so there was a lot of creaking, rustling, and other unexpected noises that are normal for an older home but still take some getting used to. It didn't bother us at all, but I would recommend ear plugs if you are a very light sleeper.
