"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. "First class hotel and service, fabulous price for mid week overnight stopover. Bed, bedding and pillows were the best I've had in nearly all of my business stopovers in the past year. Only downside was the size of the gym in such a large hotel, good new equipment but given how many rooms this hotel has it was busy on a quiet Tuesday evening so would probably be no room on a busy weekend."

"A good location hotel . Staff happy and polite . A very good one night break . Breakfast seletion good . The only one small niggle was that breakfast plates cold and hot buffet only warm . "Lovely stay, very convenient to the train station, cliffs walk and castle. Kitchen and laundry facilities available for use which was nice. Only downside was the sink in our room did not drain well so we didn’t really get to use it properly. "

"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms...
