"We were quite comfortable at the The Lake Haus. It was very peaceful looking out at the bay from the firepit area and the sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. The game room was a hit with everyone, especially the golf and Tempest arcade games and the electronic dart board. The bunk room was very well laid out and the beds very comfortable. "The Idlewild cabin is a perfect and well stocked cabin for an Ice Fishing Trip to the Little Sturgeon Bay area. The game room was a nice added bonus to the weekend. The shuffle board table is in good condition. The pool table just needs a new cue ball. Otherwise the cabin was comfy and the perfect location to the area. "

"My wife and I were looking forward to this weekend getaway. A very cozy well tastefully decorated cabin. The Christmas tree was a pleasant surprise. Eack morning we had a hot breakfast delivered and a couple of tastefull chocolate chip cookies were on a plate for us when we came back from our daily activities. "Beautiful scenery, has everyrhing you need, comfy andnpeaceful. Owner is very helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely want to stay again if in the area. We stayed in the winter, this I am sure is magnificent in warm weather stays!!"

"The property was well taken care of with many activities for kids and adults alike. Just a short walk to Lake Michigan and plenty of privacy with the surrounding trees. "The cottage is in a rural setting but close to many attractions. Enjoy long walks with a canopy of trees and wildlife. Beautiful sunsets available with water views. A lighthouse is just across the road. Sturgeon Bay has many unique shops and restaurants to enjoy. Day trips to Door County are doable."

"The property was as described, and the amenities were more than one could ever ask for. It is an excellent location for families and couples alike. The property offered a cozy atmosphere and ample room. The views of the lake were relaxing and calming, evoking the tranquility we were looking for. "Nice little cottage that still comfortably fit 7 adults. Overall was clean. Lots of little flies inside but we were aware of this beforehand and wasn't an issue. Beautiful views and a nice outdoor space. Perfect place for an outdoor adventurer to stay. Property provides all the basics. Host is very communicative. "

"We were completely disappointed that there were no dishes, glassware, silverware or cookware provided, after being told it was FULLY equipped. In addition there was NO place to sit and eat; no table & no chairs. The bathroom was dirty around the shower AND the hot water stunk so bad we couldn't use it. smelled like sewer water! "
