"Great little property near the Nürburgring. Clean, well sized and in a quiet back road not far from the main entrance to the ring. Check in was simply being handed the key by someone who was doing laundry, and check out was putting the key in a drop box. Easy enough, but might be an issue if you had any problems. "

"Perfekte Unterkunft anlässlich des Ahrathon. Die zentrale Lage ermöglicht es, zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad, sowohl das Zentrum von Bad Neuenahr, die Ahr oder Ahrweiler zu erreichen. Das Appartement ist vollständig renoviert, sauber und von der Straße hört man nichts. Für die Fahrräder steht ein Fahrradkeller zur Verfügung. Die Vermieter sind absolut gastfreundlich und stehen für Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und haben schon für das nächste Jahr gebucht."

"Wir waren im ersten Stock welche durch eine Gittertür abgetrennt ist. Dort hatten wir 2 Schlafzimmer, 1 Bad, 1 Küche sowie 1 Wohnzimmer. Alles etwas im rustikalen Stil eingerichtet aber ok. Die Gastgeberin Frau Mayer ist eine nette Lady die alles im Griff hat. Urschmitt hat kein Lokal aber in 5-7 km Entfernung findet man alles."

"We had a wonderful stay in Schalkenbach. The apartment was cozy, warm, and inviting. The hosts were very nice and accommodating, and quick to reply to any questions. The village is very small and a great place to relax, but also has easy access to many places in the area to see the local sights. The plants in the home are beautiful, a very nice touch, and made for a very homey feel."

"Wir waren für eine Nacht Gäste in der Ferienwohnung nach einer Hochzeit. Für diese eine Nacht war es absolut prima. Beim Check in hatten wir Schwierigkeiten mit dem Code der Schlüsselbox, der war wohl nicht der richtige. Nach einem Anruf war aber alles geklärt und wir konnten hinein. Das Mobiliar ist modern, aber leider waren teils die Scharniere bzw. Schubladen der Kommoden defekt. Für die eine Nacht haben wir dann einfach nichts eingeräumt. Vielleicht ist es zwischenzeitlich auch erneuert...

"This is a light and comfortable apartment with good views of the castle and vines from the seating area outside. Large bed and two wonderful showers! The kitchen was well equipped for self catering with saucepans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, kettle etc. A few more mugs and glasses would be useful. We had a very relaxing stay here in Alken and are hoping to return next year."

"Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung war auch sehr gut. Die Lage in einem kleinen Örtchen in der Eifel ist traumhaft und sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt."

"Wir haben uns zum Rock am Ring 2024 hier eingenistet und sind sehr zufrieden mit der unterkunft :). Balkon, Wohnzimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer, ein modernes Bad, Küche mit Essbereich und Holzofen. Die umgebung ist wunderschön mit viel Natur zum Wandern und spazieren gehen. Sehr zu empfehlen, hier kann man sich richtig Wohl fühlen! Man sollte aber tatsächlich mit dem Auto anreisen, da das Haus etwas ab vom Schuss ist. Zum Nürburgring sind wir je nach Verkehrslage zwischen 20 und 30 Minuten gefahren....
