"When we arrived at the property my husband thought it looked like the wrong place and had been abandoned for a long time because the grounds are not kept up well. Once inside it is very clean and nice. The balcony overlooks the mountains and valley. There are cute sheep & goats with bells near by who will greet you if you're walking into to town. The immaculately clean apartment is the bottom floor of a rustic Swiss chalet overlooking the farm and rolling hills. The location is stunning where the only sounds you hear are distant cow bells and sheep. Simon and Beatrice were friendly, kind and supportive from the time we contacted them to when we left. You will want to get the coordinates and use a GPS to find this property that is hidden among other farms...

"This nice, well equipped apartment was perfect for our needs. Close to the #3 tram and several bus lines. Getting around most of Bern was easy. One thing though.. all stores are closed on Sundays. Plan ahead because the only open grocery stores are in the train station with limited selections and very crowded. Also be sure to check the Swiss holiday schedule. We got surprised by unexpected closings a couple of times."
