Amazing and Accessible
This property was absolutely stunning, it was in an amazing location. So quiet peaceful and relaxing, beautiful inside and out with plenty of space for families. As well being mobility challenged the property if fully wheelchair accessible. I am in a larger chair than most and had no issues getting into and around the property it was absolutely an amazing place. The hosts were very helpful and answered any questions quickly and provided all and more info then requested. I highly recommend staying here or at any of the properties the host provides. We will be booking again and planning to take other day with us next time. You will not be disappointed when staying here and will likely fall in love with the cabin the moment you go inside as we did...

Perfect fall getaway
Cabin is spacious, airy and the listing is very accurate. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and the many updates including the large master bath. Great proximity to Shenandoah NP, which was the focus of our visit. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin did have WiFi, and also appreciated Annette’s responsiveness.

Beautiful Cabin, But Somewhat Misleading
The cabin is very nice. Spacious, pretty, inviting. Main bathroom is heavenly. 3 beds; 4 couches. Lots to do in the area, especially for nature lovers! Some things worth noting: 1. The front door is 10-15 feet from a road. (You enter from the back door). The front of the house contains the master suite and the only other bedroom upstairs. You can hear every car drive by while you are in bed. 2. There is a pond on property for fishing. However, there is only about a 4-foot piece of land, on an incline, where you can cast out. The rest of the pond is surrounded by trees and bushes, aside from one open area but the water is filled with lilypads. The check-in email mentioned river fishing, but in one spot it says to call, in another it mentions a fee, and in another it says it's free. No one answered when we called the number. 3. The check-in info is very long and unorganized. It can be confusing and difficult to find relevant info. 4. Wood is provided but bring starter logs & fluid if you want a fire. No kindling is provided (email states this); we hunted some down but it was wet due to rain. Never got our fire going, sadly. 5. You will be charged a cleaning fee, service fee, and host fee, but asked to strip beds, wash towels & dishes, and leave a tip for cleaning staff. We always clean up after ourselves so that's fine, but keep that in mind as it may feel a bit like overkill. Overall, a nice place, but some things could be better conveyed. We enjoyed our short stay.

Not worth it
The area is gorgeous but the house itself was dark and dingy. The pics of the property are misleading and the 3 extra fees ,that I must have overlooked, brought the price of the rental a lot higher. In my opinion is was not worth it after those extra charges . It would have been just a ok stay if the price posted was the price I paid.

Luxury cabin
Absolutely beautiful inside and out. My group had everything we needed with full kitchen and plenty of towels, comfy beds and nice hot showers. The hot tub was nice to relax in. The owners made it perfect for us. Check in and check out went very smooth. There is wifi at the cabin. Our only regret is not staying longer. Love this place

It was a peaceful stay. It was spacious for me and my family. The cabin was very clean but in the pullout couch there was some dog in the mattress and sheets fur from previous person stay. Other than that it was a nice house. There was no lake that we seen and walked through but overall the stay was excellent. It was great and private and peaceful stay. We really enjoyed our time there. The one main thing I will complain is that there was absolutely no cell phone service and we have Verizon and spectrum

Hiking Trip
Property was very nice, clean. A little off the beaten path but not bad. The reason for the four star rating was the length of the check in and out instructions- literally PAGES of instructions, then part of the info was wrong. Ex: the list of restaurants- one was highly recommended has been CLOSED for years according to the locals. Please update your check in instructions and try to limit the info to what is pertinent.

Awesome getaway!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. While the cabin is small in square footage, the rooms are spacious. It was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed. It's worth checking out the pond--the lily pads are beautiful--but watch out for ticks on the trail! A side note for fellow travelers...I have T-Mobile and had good cell reception at the cabin.

Beautiful cabin with great nearby activities
We had such a lovely time at this pretty cabin. Highlights were our hike on the Lion’s Tail trail. For anyone with little kids, it was about 15 min away and a .5 mile loop that was level, stroller-friendly and had a great access to point to the creek. We spent hours there! Our daughter loved the horse decor of the cabin!

An Authentic Log Cabin Experience
My husband and I, along with my brother sister-in-law stayed at this beautifully appointed cabin. We were visiting the area for leaf peeping and thoroughly enjoyed the solitude and peaceful location. The patio area was an excellent spot to sit and chat after a day of hiking and exploring. Close enough to shopping when we needed items as well.
