"A lovely stay in the countryside near Lyon. Very friendly and welcoming staff who were attentive. Good dinner in the restaurant- the only option for miles on a Sunday evening! Glad they had the heater turned up in the room before I arrived or else I’d have been freezing. "

"The hotel itself is OK. It gives off this vibe like someone really cared when it started, the rooms and furnishings are really nice, but then completely gave up, as the details are cheap and staff is tragic. The checkin lady made me feel like her day’s worst burden, then said that the restaurant only sells frozen pizza and if we want something edible, we can drive elsewhere (in an establishment named Hotel Restaurant Riccoty). Later, when paying for the city tax, it took her good 5 minutes to come up with a bill for €1,48. To top it off, the staff forgot to call us a taxi, despite being repeatedly reminded that we really need it to be there early morning, less we miss our flight. Luckily, an Uber was near and flight caught, but I will never set foot in this hotel again. "

"The room was very big and clean with a huge bath in the big bathroom. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Only issue was noise from the street below. Loved the fruit at breakfast. Well worth taking the healthy breakfast. "
