"This is a lovely traditional country house surrounded by its own grounds but with other properties nearby. It is beautifully quiet (apart from cicadas) and very relaxing. "The villa is beautifully renovated and the small pool is perfect for kids. The scenery around is striking: arid mountains, marble quarries, olive groves, and vineyards. Not close to the sea but it's sort of equidistant (20-30 min) to different locations (S. Vito lo Capo, Scopello, Erice, Segesta) so we went different places each day. "We enjoyed our stay in this spacious house and especially liked the garden seating area in the morning and the upstairs balcony for sunset views in the evening. The hosts were very helpful and kind and even lent us their coffee machine. It was great just for relaxing but there are places to see nearby and we were very impressed with Mozia island and the Salt pans. The cycle track outside meant you could walk or cycle in safety.
