The property is 14 miles outside of the main city center (La Spezia). It took us convincing a taxi driver to drive us the 35 minutes from the train station to the rental. "The best location, right in the lower area of Riomaggiore so it’s very easy to access and get around with minimal stairs. Cutest little apartment with everything you would need to cook. There is a bit of a damp smell but only takes 5-10 minutes with the window open to air it out. This location is unbeatable and Riomaggiore is definitely the best town to stay in. Will 100% stay here again in the future! "

"Alberico, our host was very gracious and stayed and waited for us and made sure we knew how to run everything. He even offered to allow us to stay an extra night for free. It was difficult for us to figure out how to get to the apartment in the dark… Some simple type of map would’ve helped greatly."
