"Wij hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in het huis met idyllisch uitzicht! Het huisje was zeer proper, de check-in verliep vlot! Onze hond heeft zeer erg van de tuin kunnen genieten! Jammer genoeg was het weer wat wisselvallig (we weten dat we dit kunnen verwachten in de bergen) waardoor we het zwembad slechts 2 van de 6 dagen hebben kunnen gebruiken aangezien dit niet verwarmd is. "This property should never be offered for rent. Our lives were in danger just driving up the narrow roads to arrive at the property. Once we finally did arrive we returned to the base of the mountain extremely stressed without staying the night. VRBO should not be representing this property nor should any other broker of rentable properties."

"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

"Lovely stay, came by train, without a car which we thought might be a bit of a gamble, but worked perfectly. Marco and Claudio were great and helpful at all times. Train service to lucca and pisa was great shops in the town all we needed. Lazy days by the pool and some trips out. Nicely rested! "

"Location is very good. It's 2 minutes from the train station, yet you don't hear the trains. It's also away from the center of the village, so there aren't many tourists; only those who stay in the same area. The owner responded promptly and was very good. The unit is good, for the most part. It is showing some age, with some updating needed, but nothing bad. The mattress was old, or at least overused and not in a good shape. The towels are really over-used; worse than at cheap motels. I...
