The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."

"This house was wonderful. It was built in 1612 but modernized on the inside with some old architecture touches. We fully enjoyed our stay here as the house was comfortable and Sandra added many personal touches that were above and beyond expectation! I would highly recommend this place as it’s very close to the downtown area but also quiet."

"Hier hat alles gestimmt. Tolles, gut ausgestattetes Haus in absolut ruhiger Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Herr Oncken hat sich, telefonisch erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. So einen bemühten, freundlichen Vermieter haben wir selten erlebt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

Also für ein paar Tage Essen, Trinken und Feuerholz für den Kamin gehortet, gemütlich unsere persönlichen Sachen verstaut und dann dauerte es auch nicht lange, bis wir vor dem Kamin unsere Alltäglichen Sorgen weit hinter uns ließen. Die Natur wollte uns mit ihrer unaufhörlichen kalten und nassen Winde auch nicht so wirklich vor die Tür lassen, also ein Stück Holz nachgeworfen, einen heißen...
