"Communication was excellent with Riki and we were made to feel welcome from the start. Upon arrival, Riki greeted us and showed us around the barn where to find everything. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. We had a lovely welcome pack including biscuits, local honey, organic apple juice and milk. All were good quality products. The barn is next to the farm house, however you do have privacy and a lovely seating area outside. There are also extra garden chairs available. The bed is super comfy and we slept very well every night. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower. It was a great base to explore other areas with Bude beach approximately 20 minutes away. There is lots of information for local and beyond areas. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend staying here. "

"This is a delightful property and our host was extremely helpful and friendly. We took our grandsons (aged 7 and 11) and were able to show them quite a lot of Devon. A big success was the heated swimming pool which they loved as well as the trampoline etc. Everything was great in the cottage and everything we needed. If fast broadband is a must you might struggle as with many rural areas it isn’t fast. However we highly recommend this property."

"We had a great Christmas week staying at the cottage. The cottage was cosy with the log burner and provided for a very comfortable stay. The split of bedrooms worked well for us, we stayed on the top floor with my wife's family on the bottom. There's a large well stocked Kitchen with a big table for us all to sit round. Large glass windows from the Kitchen looking out to the rear and across the hills provided a nice relaxing spot to sit back and enjoy a coffee. Our daughter enjoyed the swing and slide in the garden as well as exploring the wider area, some lovely walks to the local beach and across the hills. The cottage is remote but that added to the charm.Bude is only 20 mins away and we enjoyed exploring the town, some nice cafes/shops and of course the beach etc.A lovely week that will provide us with some fond memories "

"My wife & I have just returned home having spent 3 nights at the Corn Store conversion in Woolley nr Bude. A warm & friendly welcome on arrival from Martin. He was really helpful in giving us an introduction to the accommodation. The accommodation itself is in pristine condition. We both said on the way home that it is the cleanest place we have stayed in and it is testament to the hard work that both Riki & Martin put in to keep it in such high standards. There is everything you need to have a peaceful and relaxing stay. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans and utensils. There was enough wood for us to use the wood burner over the 3 nights of our stay. The highlight of the place was the shower. It is superb. A choice of two different shower heads with a huge cubicle to wash in. It was so nice! The mezzanine floor of the place was really lovely too with seating to take in the views of the Cornish countryside. The whole atmosphere of the accommodation was warm, cosey and a place we both wanted to spend time in. It's location is brilliant too. Only a 4-5 minute drive to the village of Kilkhampton and about 12 - 15 minutes drive to the town and beach of Bude. We cannot recommend the Corn Store enough. It is a place that my wife & I wanted to spend time in and one we could relax in. The 10 out 0f 10 clean sweep of reviews on here says it all. It was the reviews that sold it to us both to book our three nights away there. We will be returning for sure. "
