"My partner and I (and our dog) stayed at Gemma’s lovely cottage and we couldn’t be happier! Communication was prompt, the cottage was immaculate when we arrived and fully equipped, and the village of Burythorpe was beautiful! Highly recommend popping into the pub across the street as it was lovely. Gemma also provided several great recommendations in the guest book and we are sad that we couldn’t get to everything in our weekend stay! Would definitely come back, thanks Gemma!"

It’s a good-sized property, well-maintained, and generally clean but there were dog hairs on one of the sofas and it definitely smells more like dog I. 2024 (on the ground floor only - the upstairs is immaculate) than it did in 2023. I would suggest the property is either deep-cleaned and better aired/odor neutralized after every stay OR only advertised to dog owners. "Very relaxing stay here with my mum. Very well equipped and comfortable. A great friendly pub serving lovely food opposite and a cafe / shop next door. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to use the jaccuzi. Would certainly recommend "
