"Wonderful cottage in a great location with which to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage itself was clean, bright, easy to find, and had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative. Most everything you could need is in Ballater, a couple of miles away, including a grocery, petrol station, health center, and a number of restaurants and pubs. Walks are available right outside the door and only about a 20 minute drive to Lock Muick, which was...

"This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. "

"Fabulous location and beautifully appointed/decorated. Very impressed by the kitchen, furnishings and bedding. Despite travelling with a toddler and grandparents - the stairs weren’t an issue for us. Owner was fabulously helpful when we encountered a small issue with the travel cot. A great stay!"
