We were told at check in that renovation was occurring on our floor which is usually not an issue but our room was not ready to be rented. Wet paint, horrible smell of flooring adhesive that gave us headaches and over half the outlets in our room did not work. Our television wasn’t even set up to watch. The next morning at breakfast we were surprised at the line since there were very few lodgers. We quickly realized they were staff eating as well as one staff member’s husband. The housekeeping and front desk staff all were eating the breakfast for guest. Once they moved thru the line, the food was almost depleted. One bagel and two pieces of toast were left! One staff member was eating and watching TikTok in the corner and we could hear vulgar songs. She was discussing with another member of the cleaning staff that she was glad they did not do a background check on her prior to employment. Management better step in as this was the least professional hotel we have ever stayed at in the Wyndham chain.
