"I gave comfort a 4 simply because I don't find soft pillows help me sleep - but when we stayed here before the housekeeper gave us firmer pillows when we asked. Overall a lovely stay and delicious breakfast. "

"A wonderful visit to this beautiful, well run and happy pub. Genuinely a delight to spend time here. All the staff are excellent, special recognition to Elijah, Hobbs and Kelly for being above and beyond brilliant. Also, Adam made checking in quick and easy. Car park is handy and the number plate system is very simple to use. Food was delicious (we ate in both evenings) and the chef was very happy to accommodate our special dietary needs. Same with the delicious breakfast. The whole pub looked great after the refurbishment, was clean and super tidy. Lulworth itself is a Lovely area, great for walks. "

"We stayed on 12th February 2025 in room 35. The hotel is very traditional. The lady at check-in was friendly helpful and kind. The hotel has a swimming pool which was lovely and warm. The room and shower room were clean. Free parking on site a huge bonus. Breakfast was delicious everything cooked perfectly. It was in a huge traditional staffed dining room. The Laguna is about five minutes stroll to Bournemouth town centre through two underpasses. Location brilliant for the town centre. We would definitely stay again. Its old fashioned quirky and we loved it. Good value too. "

"We love staying at the Knoll house, it’s a very unique hotel in such a lovely setting. You can walk across the road to the beach. It is perfect for dogs. It is a five minute ride from Swanage. There is a bus that stops right outside the hotel and will take you to sandbanks or Swanage it is surrounded by so much countryside and nature. It’s a wonderful place. Our dog loves it as well.👍"

"This was a 10/10 for us. Just wonderful in all ways. It was romantic, scenically amazing with such a pretty sea view room and balcony, the room was beautiful, clean, fresh and white and bright and it was such a comfy bed and with so many high quality and thoughtful touches in the room like many lovely teas and drinks and quality biscuits, the food in the restaurant was delicious and even the staff were very friendly as well and helpful too. What more could we possibly have asked for as a special pre-Valentines trip ? It was quiet and peaceful too at this time of year. We will definitely return. The fact that the WiFi was attained with a bit of data release probably was a plus for us as in choosing not to go there we had more of a rest and could make a call we had to make outside so that was not in any way a negative in real terms. It was a bonus really. Lulworth was already a favourite place but now we have a favourite place to stay there too. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special. "
