"The front office staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is just on the edge of the old town and castle which is ideal with Pugh the hassle for vehicles inside the old town and island of Sirmione and so it’s very walkable too. We loved the closeness to the island bars, shops and restaurants too. Our room felt modern and had a fabulous view over the small beach and the lake. "

Cons- No English or French TV channels. We always book a hotel in accordance to the accessibility to public transportation. With a bus stop to Verona only 200m away, I thought we would be all set. Bus #148 has a very limited ride schedule in the early morning one at noon and a few in late afternoon. Several of the runs are for school kids, but adults are allowed. We were there for 4 days on Easter weekend. This bus does not run on Sundays and was suspended for Saturday and Monday because of Easter. We had to take a taxi which cost us near 30 euros each trip. As a hotel, super...but if dependent of public transportation, better avoid booking on Sundays unless you don't mind paying for a taxi or shuttle."
