"I booked a room with shared bathroom and it turned out there was a mistake that the room was already booked. I got upgraded to a room with en-suite for free which was great. The room was very clean and nice. But the only strange thing is that I had to throw away the rubbish myself."

"Perfect cottage for myself and a friend. Great location for us, very peaceful but close enough to nearby towns and a stone’s throw from the local pub The Kings Head where everyone was very welcoming. The owners of the cottage had thought of everything! It was beautifully decorated and dressed…absolutely faultless. It was lovely and warm, especially with the log burner that, as it was cold enough, we were able to use. Would definitely like to rerun. Thanks Ann and Peter!"

"We chose this property for its size and location for a 3 day Christmas break and it did not disappoint. Even though the weather was lousy you could see out to the valley due to the high position of the house and I’m sure this outlook is even more stunning in the Summer months."

"Joe and I had a wonderful stay at The Shed. The space and size were perfect and exactly what we were looking for in a English countryside cottage stay. The bed was comfortable. We spent plenty of time in the cozy living room reading and relaxing. The kitchen was serviceable. The heaters took a bit of time to get going but they put out plenty of heat to keep the space warm. "The apartment was very close to all bath attractions. The main upstairs room was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The three basement rooms smelled quite musty and the noise from the road outside did bother them. Having 3 bathrooms was a big bonus. We were grateful for the milk left in the fridge We loved the fact a Xmas tree had been put up "

"We had 3 nights at the house and it was perfect for our group of 8. 4 adults, 4 children and a dog. The kids loved the hot-tub and the MUGA."

I appreciated all the soap, washing up liquid, loo roll, etc. that was there, as well as the welcome milk in the fridge. You can arrive and straight away have a cuppa (tea bags and coffee were there too) and use the loo, without even starting to unpack. There was plenty of hot water, but the shower is touchy. "Generally a good stay - the apartment is a good size and very comfortable! Lots of good amenities within a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Only down side is that the corridors and doors are noisy (You can hear people talking loudly in other apartments down the hall!) so bring ear plugs, and a street light was fixed directly outside the window, and the apartment didn't have blackout blinds so the room was light all night."

"This is our second year staying at Bristol Redcliffe; it is in ideal base for travelling around Bristol and into Bath--great bus, coach, and train services--and there's good coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, and markets close by. "Set in the countryside the building is very impressive. There is ample parking but due to the hotels popularity one may have to walk a fair distance to get to the entrance. The entrance hall with its staircase is very impressive. On checking in the friendly receptionist gives you a map so you can find your room. This is a vital document as the route to ones room is a maze. We were upgraded and had a suite on two floors. Arriving late we had dinner in the Atrium. The food was good. The next morning we had breakfast in the Restaurant which was excellent. Prior to leaving we walked round the grounds which every guest should see."

Excellent overnight stay

"Firstly the hotel is in the middle of the city and only a 15 minute walk from Bristol temple meads station which makes it perfectly situated. The hotel is in a gorgeous part of the city in the middle of old Bristol. The service was superb with book in really easy and friendly staff. Room was clean and I’d stay here again without a second thought."

"This was my third stay at Bristol Royal Marriott. Staff have been lovely on all occasions and my room clean and of a very good standard. There is a relaxed vibe to the hotel which is within easy reach of all of Bristols attractions and there is parking on site which i have used on my two previous visits. Reasonably priced. "
