Bar/club Downstairs could hear everything. This was despite being on one of the top floors. Paper thin walls between rooms, could hear everything from the neighbours. Great location but not worth staying there due to all the other faults.

Dated hotel and rooms need TLC, but great value for price and location. Check in is at a nearby hotel, but very friendly staff. Very close to Lucerne Station. Only concern is there are bars down below and people hung out on the street and got so loud until 2AM on the weekdays and 4AM on a Saturday we were there, hence there was earplugs provided in the room.

This property is excellent and affordable. It’s in a great location convenient to the train station and old town. There is an awesome local bar downstairs called Franky and also close for an easy quick bite there is a pizza restaurant The room was very clean and great Swiss design. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Very happy with our stay!

A Good Place to Stay in Lucerne
It was a good hotel with a good location. Both check-in and breakfast are in the hotel half a block or less away... which was weird, but not horrible. But it was a very good place to stay, and a good start to our vacation

Hotel Alpina is a convenient and practical option for short visits of Luzern or for concerts at the nearby KKL concert hall. The rooms are spotless and the hotel is 2 min away from the railway station and is located in the center of the city.
