The views are fabulous and theres no mention of the long and short walks, that start 50m from the property, travelling through the Forrest and finishing at a pub/restaurant 1km from the accommodation."

"We enjoyed our holiday. The calm, the silence, the beautiful view and the cows as neighbors. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and everything was neat and clean. The cottage is decorated with taste and detail. The surroundings are beautiful, we made many beautiful trips. We only found it a bit cold in the evenings with only a wood stove (September). Furthermore, the house is highly recommended. A place to go back."

I remembered what stars look like, fell asleep to the sound of a river, and read to my heart's content, warmed by a real fire. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive. The cottage isn't too far from wine chateaux (about an hour) and a couple of ancient dolmens, not to mention the beautiful Vézelay Abbey (about 40 minutes), if you want to venture out."
