Come enjoy this charming, two-bedroom cottage double nestled by a creek in the Pleasant Valley woodlands. We are located 3 minutes from Malabar Farm State Park which offers many hiking trails, Mt. Jezebel lookout, Louis Bromfield's large estate home with tours, wagon rides, night owl walks, a Maple Syrup Festival in March along with Heritage Day’s festival in September. Visit movie sites in the Shawshank Redemption film as well. Guests can fine dine at the Malabar Inn. Snow Trails Ski Resort is only 10 min away as is Pleasant Hill Lake State Park which offers a swimming beach, boat & kayak rentals, & hiking trails, while Mohican National Forest State Park and canoe rentals are only 15 min away. This newly renovated cottage home is perfect for a lovely, quiet getaway or relaxing after wonderful outdoor activities. The bedrooms have new mattresses and bedding with lovely views into the woods! There is a large, full-functioning kitchen with a small balcony, lovely bathroom, cozy living room, and outdoor fire ring.

This little two bedroom was very nice and clean. The price was just right for the trip we were on. It's not a place I would want to stay with children because is to small. For couples on a tight budget it is a good solution.

I was so impressed by how well stocked this vrbo was! We never wanted for anything while here! The kitchen allowed for easy dining in and its short distance to Mansfield and Lexington gave us great options for dining out! Loved how serene and peaceful the location was. Much needed after a busy day! The host was a delight . Amazing communication and just so kind. I would recommend this cottage to anyone needing a stay that covers all the bases!

This is the perfect retreat. Quiet, peaceful, extremely clean and accommodating. Very private. Perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay close to Malabar Farm State Park. The beds were very comfortable, the towels plush, the kitchen very well appointed. We really enjoyed the fireplace on chilly evenings. The hosts had wonderful extra touches that made our stay very enjoyable. I can't say enough good things about this stay!

This was one of the nicest and most comfortable places I have ever stayed. I especially enjoyed all the art work - it made the atmosphere special and relaxing. There were thoughtful touches, like a basket of teas, popcorn, and good snacks. There was also information about interesting places nearby, like Malabar Farm. The beds were comfy. The country setting made it quiet and peaceful. I hated to leave in the morning!
