"Rooms and beds were nice, and space in the lobby area to sit with group. Dining was limited to bar area which was quite busy, and there was nothing really around the site to do/walk, but good for a stop over before carrying on journey."

"Great stay at this hotel. Only for 2 nights as part of a solo trip. Bed was comfortable. Room compact but still well-appointed, great for 1-2 people. Location was very walkable. Excellent value as well."

"Has the bare minimum whish is all you need. Private bathroom amd private 2 bed room is what we booked. The bathroom smelled really.weird. Also someone nabbed my bavita biscuits i left out which was 2 days of breakfast for me. Staff are super nice. Space works if you only plan to sleep there."

"I had an amazing stay at this hotel. Front desk were very warm and welcoming. I had an issue with my water not heating up quickly and they quickly sent someone to fix it. It got better but I think it still needs to be looked at again. But I will definitely return to this hotel"

Lucan Village is charming; several very quaint pubs; lots of dining choices within 5 minutes walk from Moat Lodge. The river Liffey flows through the village and there is a beautiful walking trail along the river and through a grove of old oaks.

Lucan was a quiet family friendly neighborhood with shopping, restaurants and other services nearby which made it very convenient. Also, close to the highways so we could hop on and head anywhere very quickly.
