The Farmhouse in Tech Terrace

"The Farmhouse" in Tech Terrace has the location and farmhouse charm you are looking for when coming to Lubbock for a game, or to enjoy visiting your student. Less than a mile from Texas Tech, and close to restaurants, the Medical District, and shopping. Easy access to Marsha Sharp, and I27, and only 10 minutes to the airport. "The Farmhouse" is an updated 1947 cottage that is in a great neighborhood with two parks and within easy walking distance to J&B Coffee, Capital Pizza, and grocery.

The Farmhouse in Tech Terrace is a 3 bedroom 2 bath 1400 sq ft home less than a mile from TTU. The main bathroom was updated in January of 2021. It is fully furnished and has orignal hardwood flooring in the living and bedroom areas. Sleep well on memory foam mattresses, and enjoy Direct TV's Entertainment package and 300 Mbps WiFi. Relax on the deck in the fenced backyard under a canopy of cafe' lights! We hope you'll feel down-home at "The Farmhouse"!

FYI: There is a small house at the back of the property that is unoccupied.

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. Karen was wonderful to work with and very communicative and helpful. The property was clean, comfortable and updated, and a great walkable location to campus and a great coffee shop. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed here multiple times. The house is clean, well stocked, beds and other furniture are all comfortable. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to talk to.We enjoy the backyard amenities and games provided. The fire pit is a favorite with our family.

Wonderful home for a family stay!
This home in Tech Terrace is very clean and well furnished! We enjoyed our stay, baking cookies and brownies in prep for Thanksgiving. We had another family over to play games and there was enough room for all of us! The owners are gifted with hospitality and were on top of everything from check-in to check-out. We will stay here again!

Visiting our college girls for a Family Thanksgiving
A great chance to be close to campus, catch a Tech Volleyball game, visit friends, catch up on rest, play some games with our kids and just be a family. The hosts were so welcoming and its clear they enjoy having people in their house. The neighborhood is excellent if you are there to enjoy the tech scene- and we were!

Perfect house to visit your TTU student!
We loved our stay here! The house is so charming and well appointed. We weren’t able to use the great deck and fire pit due to weather, but next time we will! The house was very clean and so close and convenient to Tech. Amazing communication with the owners and we loved that it is dog friendly. Highly recommend this house!!

TTU Ring Ceremony
We stayed at the Farmhouse to attend our daughter’s ring ceremony. The house was perfect for our group of 5. After the ceremony my daughter had a couple friends join us at the house for corn hole and food. We could not of asked for a better house! Our host was just the nicest too!

Great stay
This house is exactly how it's described. The place was clean, the beds comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet. Karen is an awesome host, she contacted me prior to the date, gave me a little background on the house, and made us feel comfortable. The day prior she asked what time we'd be coming in, how we liked the temperature, and left some lights on for us since we came in late. We only stayed the night but I would definitely stay there again.

Better than we expected.......
This is the first time we've done a short rental like this. Much better than staying in a hotel. Property is pretty much as advertised. We have enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse, and we will definitely look here first if we come back to Lubbock. Overall, a great experience for the family.

A wonderful "Farmhouse Cottage" in a great area close to Texas Tech and central to anywhere you need to be in Lubbock. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms was very convenient, along with the cozy lounge, and a great kitchen with all the essentials needed to prepare anything you need. The huge back garden was perfect for our Golden Doodle to run around and enjoy. Thanks for a great stay!

Felt Like Home
We loved being back in Lubbock close to our houses we lived in while attending Texas Tech. Brought back so many college memories. The house was very homey and welcoming. It was nice to sit in the spacious, well kept back yard and watch the kids play.

Fantastic
We were in Lubbock to visit our granddaughter and attend a football game. The house was perfectly located to all we had planned to do. Plenty of room for various age groups to enjoy. The smaller kids played frisbee in the back yard and we enjoyed them having a safe space to burn off energy. Karen was a delight to work with and responded quickly to our questions. We hope to stay here again!
