"This is a perfect location if you only have a couple of days to explore Dubrovnik, just a 4 minute (max) walk from Pile Gate. The apartment is beautiful, large, and the property owner and manager are very responsive and easy to deal with. "

"The house is roomy, super clean, and charming. The beds a comfy, and if you’re traveling with a friend like I did, you have plenty of personal space and privacy. It has all that you need and more. Sitting up on the terrace is not only relaxing but the view is lovely. The location is great.and the host is super caring and communicative. "Dubrovnik is an old city of many levels, stone stairs throughout. My wife and I are hikers and loved this about the flat, it was on the highest point of our building. Clean, convenient to everything, many in house features including washing machine, attentive landlord to ensure help with any needs or problems. Great stay!"

"Our Host Maro was beyond a Super Host. He arranged transportation to and from the airport. Helped us with our luggage to and from the Old Town gate to his property, which was as shown and described, modern, clean and greatly located. Maro was available to ensure our stay was great 24 hours a day. I cannot say enough great things about this property and your Host Maro. Book it!!!"

"We had the honour of being the first rental guests in this house and our family of 4 loved it. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Maro and his Dad, Tihomir, were very patient and understanding when our delayed flight caused a rather late evening arrival. Tihomir showed us where everything was whilst Maro acted as translator. Tihomir had generously stocked the fridge and cupboards with an abundance of food, fruit and wine. He even insisted we helped ourselves to the whisky on the...

"What a lovely holiday. The apartment was amazing, stunnjng views over the bay and out to sea, lovely little beach nearby ( although steep steps), really clean and tidy abd had everything we needed, great little pool to cool off in and a great bbq and patio area for evening dining. Theres a couple of great restaurants nearby and a brilliant bus service to both debrovnick and cavtat, we would recommend visiting Cavtat, such a lovely town. The host was so friendly and really helpful during our stay...

"Cute little apartment, just outside the City walls near to Pile gate. Ths 1 bed apartment was perfect for my son and I on a 4 night trip to Dubrovnik. The apartment is access via one of the winding lanes and is a little up hill. The gate leads to a staircase up to a terrace. A great option for a stay in an amazing city. "

"Great location. Nice balcony with great view of old town. Lots of steps to get up to the room but similar to most in the area. Owner and Property manager we’re very helpful and responsive to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay. "

The pool is a good size but the tiles are coming off and 2 of our party cut their feet. The house could be great but is definitely showing signs of age... the banister is distressingly wobbly, the shutters are falling to pieces and let in a lot of light, especially as there are street lights outside. "We couldn’t fault this place. Everything about it was exceptional . Miro was the perfect host and his son George who met us at the property was so helpful. The beds are so comfortable and the terrace is an amazing place to sit out and enjoy the wonderful view. It’s located in the centre of town but up quite a few steps, but this wasn’t a problem. Nice touches of wine and fruit on arrival for us to enjoy. Overall, the perfect place to stay and highly recommended. "

"Place needs work with wholes in walls, needs a good cleaning, do not be fooled in the small print it says you have to pay extra for the master bedroom that is located in the annex however, in my booking it said included the annex and the manager asked for an extra $250 cash a night in order to open up the room. "Truly perfect location within the city walls. Short walk with luggage, so that was no an issue. The property itself has only stairs, no elevator, but that was once again, not an issue. Recommendation - because the location is phenomenal, make sure to walk the walls as soon as they open. Wonderful property. "
