"The house is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. It is a stand-alone house on a big block with a beautiful garden. The location is excellent, only a short stroll to bakeries. Cafes, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommended. "

"My husband and I booked the Penguin beach house as a place for us and our 3 year old daughter to rest after the excitement of crossing on the boat. It was a wonderful place to stay. The heater had been left on for us so when we arrived on a frosty June morning, the house was warm and inviting. The house had a friendly fee and contained everything you could want. The shower was amazing!!"

"We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. "It is a brand new facility and we had a comfortable stay. Reception was lovely and welcoming. The door to the room is super heavy and someone with mobility issues may struggle to push it open or hold it open to get suitcases in or out. A list of available tv channels would be helpful. Lighting in bathroom over vanity poor especially when trying to put makeup on"

"We loved our stay here! It was so close to the cradle mountain visitor centre! The cabin was first class! Clean, new, comfortable and had everything we needed - including a gas fireplace! Will definitely stay here again. The reception even has a small amount of groceries including frozen meat which is helpful for travellers to the National Park."

"What an amazing new hotel. We had a lovely welcome and were surpised by our welcome gifts. The beds are so comfortable. I wish I had one at home. The shower was roomy and good pressure. Wonderful amenities and we will be back next time we are in Burnie. "

"Picturesque location was lovely. The sounds of the birds and wildlife was so calming. Cute decorations outside. The room had heated blankets! When we arrived late, the lights and heater had been left on for us which was very considerate as it was a cold night. Would definitely stay again if we come back. "

Great place to stay when visiting Cradle Mountain

"We stayed 3 nights. Buffet Breakfast was included and catered for all tastes and food types. The hotel had numerous of the Cradle Mountain walks starting near their reception as well as the shuttle bus to Ronnie Creek and Dove Lake being just over the road. They had the Highlander restaurant or the bar and bistro to eat at. The food was really great. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend staying at Peppers Cradle Mountain"
