The host welcomed us with a tour of the apartment and was available to answer any questions we had. The emigration center, Wilhelm Bauer U Boat, observation tower and other sights are within walking distance. The train station is only a short taxi ride and convenient to use for tourists that are non-German speaking. "

Rooms are ok, hotel average overall, very limited communal area (just the foyer), the 'bar' looks like an afterthought added to the end of the reception desk, breakfast pricey for what you get, staff ok but expect no more than thr average german customer service. No aircon in the rooms, which were already feeling warm in early May. Fine for business travel when just a bed needed, for anything else you will likely be disappointed."

"My room in this hotel was very clean, had a strong shower with good water pressure and hot water, there is a machine for buying coffee anytime downstairs, and there is a breakfast available for an extra price. I had to go catch a train Sunday morning and the breakfast didn’t begin until 7:30 because it was Sunday, so I missed it and was not able to eat since I had to be out catching a train at 8am. I think breakfast should always be available early for travelers. "
