"Very attractive decor and newly done. The bathroom was the best I've yet to stay in. Comfortable bedroom with good facilities. The staff were excellent, so friendly and willing to help. Got the impression they were happy in their work. All food was extremely tasty and well sourced."

"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "

"It was our third visit to the Jolly Drover and we have always returned because the beds and bedding are so comfy and the accommodation is simple but well maintained. We have stayed in different rooms and this time were in room 6. Everything was fine until we got into bed. The mattress was so awful that you could feel the slats on the bed. I nearly fell out on one occasion. It was a horrible night and very sad because we were exhausted after a long drive from Wales and settling a family member...
