"The hotel is convenient to Old Town Kotor and the marina. Our room overlooked the marina. It was large and airy. The front desk staff also recommended a very good restaurant for dinner. The staff parks your car should you request parking, for an additional charge. Kotor and the surrounding areas are worth visiting."

" Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "

"I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic. Then I got there - the staff were unfailingly lovely; the room was big (after several days of tiny rooms); each room has an expansive sea view; the breakfast was out of this world; and it was a beautiful promenade in front of the hotel along the sea. It was really a singular experience and one of the reasons that Piran was a highlight of the trip. My mother (70 yo) felt very poorly on the last night of the trip and was quite ill during the night. As we didn't have to leave to go to the airport until 4pm, I requested a late-check out. Not only did they give my mother the room until 4pm, but they didn't accept extra payment for the additional time in the room. Honestly I can't recommend this hotel more highly!"

"Gorgeous setting on the water with plenty of Italian restaurants within walking distance. Downside is that you have to park far away and wait for a shuttle in both directions whenever you want your car."

"We had a glorious two week holiday here. It is remote ( very quiet and rural) so have to drive everywhere but good beaches and towns 35~40 mins away. Rovinj and Vrsar our favourites. House is very well presented and spotless with everything you need. Lovely barbecue area with sink by the pool. Very clean and well equipped. Worth noting just two a/c units one upstairs and one down, so fans in the bedrooms would have been good as they did get quite warm at night and we weren’t keen to leave windows open because of the bugs. Also the down stairs twin room has its own entrance so wouldn’t be suitable to leave young children there alone. Our teens were fine!! Fabulous restaurant in Beram ( 5 min drive) and Pazin nearby for great pizza and pasta and small bars. Good supermarkets 5 min drive. Thoroughly recommend if you want to get away from it all."
