"Bernadette and Rich were gracious hosts and provided anything we thought we might need. They helped us when my car hit a deer They took me to get the loaner so we could go home. I enjoyed my conversations with Bernadette almost in a daily basis as she is always doing something. Since we are moving to Texas i just found our first friends. helpful."

"My family adored our stay on this lovely, serene property. We spent a lot of time at the creek. My kids loved being able to pet the goats and see the chickens. It was very peaceful and restful. We made a fire in the fire pit each night and told stories. It was easy to cook on the little cook stove. Everything was clean and we had all we needed. Very thoughtfully set up cabin. The hostess is always available if needed. We loved it. "

"Very clean and peaceful. My daughter and I had a week of writing to do and this was a great place for it. The beds are comfortable, and when taking a break we made 3 loops around the neighborhood walking. The only concern someone might need to know, if it rains you might get stuck driving to house from road. We were glad it wasn’t raining. "

"I'm not sure how we missed that this area had no kitchen or BBQ area and as we had already gone grocery shopping, we had steaks that needed to be cooked one of the two nights we stayed here! One cannot waste steak! Luckily, the Dollar Store up the road had a hibachi for sale! The steak was perfect! We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place! "We had a great time. Our daughter got married this weekend so we weren’t there too much but did get a chance to fish and swim. The groom is a professional fisherman and was pleasantly surprised by the size and amount of bass in the pond. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a getaway and love the outdoors."
