We stayed at Suite 118 for a week in the fall, our first time in Provence, and it was wonderful. Axelle and Laurent were helpful in getting us situated and for answering questions, check in and out were very easy (although it can be tricky to find the place the first time, use your cell if you can). The apartment was a former restaurant so it’s setup is a little quirky (numbers on walls still show the maximum occupancy!) but everything comes together nicely to make it enjoyable: great bedrooms, clean and comfortable bathrooms, a very nice kitchen (it was a restaurant, remember?), a comfortable dining room and living room. The patio would be great in the spring or summer, and the location was also good.
Lourmarin is a perfect place to stay as it is a charming, quiet Provence town with a friendly atmosphere, but also within easy driving distance to our favorite other places (eg. weekly markets every day of the week, Apt, Rousillion, Gordes, St. Rémy, and many others) and less than an hour to Avignon or Marseille. We plan to return soon.
