Quality marina view one bed apartment in Vilamoura

This delightful apartment overlooks the marina and captures the westerly sun from late afternoon to sunset. It is based on the more popular side of the marina close to the Old Navy restaurant, Luis Figo's bar and the Mayflower restaurant. From it's balcony you have a lovely view of the promenade from which you can enjoy a glass of wine and people watch. If you choose to absorb the wonderful vibe of the marina then it is literally a 30 second walk. Proximity to the marina allows you to enjoy it fully and due to where the apartment is based the only evening music you can hear (and see) is live music from the Old Navy restaurant. Usually this is Sinatra or easy-listening style so it's very pleasant. Often, as owners with small children, when we use the apartment we enjoy the balcony as if part of the action but not in the middle of everything. It's your choice. The apartment is based on the 1st floor so access is up one flight of stairs. Should you have a pram/buggy there is a place to store this on the ground floor.

The apartment has a relaxing design with warm beiges and fresh blues. The kitchen has been remodelled this year and has all the necessary equipment to allow you to eat at home should you wish. There is a freezer compartment in the small fridge. For shopping you can walk just five minutes to the local Jaffers Supermarket which has a butchers and bakers department. If you have a car then larger supermarkets can be reached outside Vilamoura at either Quarteira or Almancil. Driving time to Quarteira is five minutes.

The lounge has a full dining table with six chairs. We have provided a large easy-open sofa bed which sleeps two adults easily. Ample cabinets to store your belongings. From the sofa you can enjoy the views of the marina or instead watch our large flat screen Smart TV which has all international channels, Netflix and Internet services like YouTube. Internet access is free, password provided and is fast fibre optic.

The bedroom has been furnished in black and white with a double bed, bedside cabinets and wardrobe. The bathroom access is from the bedroom and has a large shower unit. The apartment is technically a studio apartment but was built will the ability to provide a private bedroom which we have done with a sliding door to give privacy.

We recommend the apartment to couples and families with small or grown up children. Privacy for two and sofa bed for two more. It can also accommodate a group of adults, up to four, although we only have one bathroom and as access is through the bedroom there is an element of interruption to the bedroom if someone needs a visit in the middle of the night.

A parking space is included within a communal parking area which has a safety barrier. The remote controller is provided in the apartment so you will need to park, access the apartment and then bring your car in to unload.

Vilamoura marina was created by breaking apart a long stretch of beach so you will find beautiful beaches either side of the marina. The closest beach is just a five minute walk around the side of the Tivoli Marina hotel. The other beach is a longer fifteen minute walk but you can now catch the Vilamoura ferry should you choose not to walk. Both beaches have glorious golden sand and are backed up by beach bars which provide facilities, live music, sunset parties, sangria and great food.

This apartment is arguably in the best location in Vilamoura, it's clean and modern and recently refurbished. Very few apartments have proper balconies with marina views and this was the reason we bought it. After renting to family and friends we have now decided to rent for others to enjoy Vilamoura.
