Great house close to downtown

I stayed here for Ironman 70.3 Louisville. It was only 12 minutes from down town and the neighborhood was super quiet. Overall great location.

Jeffersonville house

The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. Not only was there an outdoor fire pit, but the hosts also provided everything needed to do s’mores which was a pleasant surprise. The hosts also had plenty of trash bags and toilet paper. The house was not only stocked with the essential items as other places, it was well stocked. Had plenty of host provided trash back and toilet paper.

Bachelor's Party

My group and I were here for a Bachelors Party and we enjoyed our stay as it was close to all the places we would visit in downtown Louisville. Tyler was great with communication and getting the house ready for our stay.

Had my brothers bachelor party. Very fun back yard and in a quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get to downtown! Would recommend to anyone looking for a couple nights out in da Ville.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beds were incredibly soft, and the house was clean. Tons and tons of towels available, even seperate towels for the hot tub. They even had everything we would need for smores. We would definitely stay here again

Rabbit Convention Week

We were very pleased with our stay! The beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day on our feet at the rabbit convention. One washer did have a little mildew smell, but other than that, the house was very clean. It was a great size for our group. I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant Experience

The house was very nice and well set up. I noticed the floors hadn’t been swept well and there was some crumbs on the stove, I messaged the owner and got a very prompt response. He was very apologetic and stated he would discuss it with the cleaning company. There was a broom and cleaning supplies available so I cleaned it up my self and let him know. But overall it was a very pleasant experience and a very nice place to stay!

We had a girls trip with several women, & there was plenty of space so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We didn’t even leave the w house for 3 days, just enjoyed the yard & relaxed. Everything was very nice & suprisingly super cute!

Didn't Meet Expectations

We rented the place for family and friends while visiting for the Bourbon Trail. Host was only responsive the day before the stay, but was quick to answer any questions during the stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place was disappointing. Mold was present in the washing machine and in the bathroom upstairs (shower). Multiple dead bugs where found on the floor and on/around the windows. The outdoor couch cushions where hard and cracked. The listing also stated that smoke and carbon monoxide detectors where present in the home. None where found or visible during the stay and when disclosed to the owner, stated where hidden but again did not disclose the location and we were unable to find. The location was close to downtown Louisville. The pictures of the interior of the space are accurately represented in the listing. The upstairs area was very spacious and accommodating for medium to large groups.

Needs a different cleaning crew

There are good and bad things about this property. This property has potential to be awesome. The upstairs game room was a big plus for the boys age 7 to 9. The property has been remodeled and we loved what the owner did to the place. It looks appealing when you walk in. However, the freezer did not work and the ice maker was broken and water was on the floor. The owner did offer to replace it the next morning, but we didn't need the freezer or ice maker. The day after that, the refrigerator stopped working, was warm inside, and all of our items had to be thrown out. We could have lived with all of this, but the first night when we went to go to bed, we found hairs on the fitted sheets in the downstairs bedrooms. There was also leaf debris or something on one of the bottom sheets. There was no detergent available to wash them. We ended up pulling the sheets and sleeping on blankets that we had brought. There was mold in the downstairs bathroom tub. The caulking needs to be pulled and redone. Webs with bugs in them were found in several places near the ceiling. There is definite mold in one of the washers, but hopefully the cleaning crew is using the other washer. The walls were sticky and tacky with grime. The owner did offer to have the cleaning crew come back to clean, but we were not comfortable to have them in the place with our belongings while we were gone. A new cleaning crew needs to be hired and this place will get the 5 stars it is seeking.

BEWARE This home is not as represented and is not in a safe neighborhood

I have apparently been taken for more than $4000.00 due to the unsafe misrepresented home I unfortunately rented. Even after contacting the host directly prior to renting, and he stating that it was a safe neighborhood. The police calls being more than 280 in a two block area since January 2021 says another story. There are multiple violent crimes within these calls. IT IS NOT A SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD!!! There were cars up and down the street overnight until after 3AM. We could not find any smoke or carbon monoxide detectors. The host did not reply on that subject until the next day after he had an opportunity to go to the home and “see for himself”. I assert they weren’t there. I have been a full time paid firefighter for 24 years and am a captain on a municipal Fire Department. I can’t believe I would have missed them. It is state law that they be placed outside each bedroom. Video evidence shows there were none there when we left the house nor were there any evidence of there ever being any detectors on the areas outside of the bedrooms on either floor. The photos are most certainly enhanced to show a better picture than what the reality of the home is. The front door was not secure. The freezer didn’t freeze water. The washer had mold in it. The house was dirty. The outside furniture cushions were hard and crunchy. Lights in the home didn’t work and the tv situation was just a mess. I couldn’t get several of them to work properly. Overall a horrible experience!!’ We left!!

Weekend getaway with friends

My friends and I spent a weekend in Louisville and had such a fun time at this vrbo. The place is spacious enough for a large group, we were able to comfortably cook meals and play games. We were all impressed with the backyard and had a blast playing volleyball and staying warm in the hot tub. The location is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Louisville, which made it easy to get out and explore. I would definitely recommend this vrbo to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Family reunion

The house was a good place to spend some time with Michigan and Georgia family. We were able to spend some quality time at the house playing volleyball, corn hole, and using the hot tub. The house was close to Louisville so we saw some sights too. The house could use a few improvements - window and door screen repairs and the downstairs bathroom could use an update and a few minor repairs. The house was clean and in a good location and we would consider going back as Tyler was a good host and very prompt with his replies.
