"It worked out perfect for us. It’s secluded enough that if my dog barked, he did not disturb anybody. There’s a hiking path right next to the side so I could take my dogs for a nice long walk. Even though it was secluded, it was close enough to any place around. Shopping was only nine minutes away. Downtown Charlottesville was just a very short ride."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful property inside and out, perfect cozy spot, caught the snow which was beautiful! Only 15 minutes from town. We will definitely be back, and we loved the Alley Light suggestion from the owner which was incredible! All around it was a perfect stay, thank you!"

"Our family of 5 (two adults and three kids ages 7, 7 and 3.5) really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Eagle's Nest Cottage on Lake Anna. This was our first time visiting Lake Anna. I specifically chose this rental for the amazing view, the ability to swim on the property, the kayaks and paddle boat, the queen sized bunk beds and the fact it was fully renovated. "The house was a perfect place between Shenandoah and Mt Vernon. Very clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with goodies! We appreciated the Christmas decor as we were celebrating together! Highly recommend "

"This tiny house was great for some alone time with your partner. The only downsides were, there was a coffee pot you could make coffee on the stove, but no coffee maker. Your are set out in the country some, so some insects are to be expected, but they mostly stayed on the first floor, there was a decent amount of ants in the kitchen (windows were rustic, so they were coming in there) we just kept any food in the fridge. The handle on the tub is broken off, and we found it weird that already...

"We had a family wedding in Gordonsville and couldn’t resist staying in this wonderful little cottage. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was how clean and neat the cottage was. It’s an older home, but had all the modern amenities that we needed and we’re very pleased with all the comforts that were provided. They thought of everything. Can’t wait to get a chance to stay again. !!"

"Property was beautiful with lakefront and restaurants. Advertising needs to be accurate with room. I paid for a deluxe king with microwave and sink and there was neither in the room that I received. Walls were thin and working nights, I could hear conversations from other rooms in the mornings when trying to sleep "
