"Me and my partner had a fabulous stay in this beautiful cottage. The food and staff were great and with my partner being heavily pregnant they reached every demand she had with ease. We stayed with our dog and she had a great time too meeting some other furry friends staying there as well. 10/10"

"We stayed in a Shepherd's hut and it was great! Lovely location for going walking (only about 10min drive from a car park to go up old man coniston) Was super cosy and warm inside the hut, everything you need to prepare food, a tv to watch Netflix etc and bed was decent. It did get quite damp in there at night leaving the corners of the bed a bit wet in the morning but nothing too extreme. (Might be worse after more than 2 nights though.) "Lovely hotel with great staff. Very clean although the room and bathroom were not huge. Newly decorated it was very clean - great shower. Great parking and access to Ambleside. Only grumble is the continental breakfast went out for cooked breakfast on 1st morning "

Lorraine is such a wonderful host, always helping with any information we need and goes out of her way to help me with storing my luggage before checkin and after checkout.The location is fantastic, just next to the Town centre and bus stops. "Excellent service at our 4th stay. Foods brilliant and theres alway good beer and gins etc at the log fire heated bars. Room was warm and bed really nice. Hot shower was also good with its downpour in a jungle type fittings. Room2, right by the stairs but not at all noisy. "We had a wonderful stay at 1 Park Road in September, having stayed here now for many years. Hilton is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is beautiful with allergens catered for with prior notice. Such a relaxing time in the lovely bright dining room.
