"Had a lovely stay here recently, the staff were really great and very friendly, even allowing me to stay in my room later than the official check-out time as I was getting ready for a wedding. The room itself could have been a little cleaner and one of the lamps by the bed didn't work, but overall it was perfectly fine and more than clean enough for rooms above a pub :) The bed was wonderfully comfortable and I had one of the best nights sleep I've had in a while (especially after driving 7...

"We absolutely loved our time at Windermere Suites and Windermere. Vicky and Alex were very welcoming and helpful. We loved their advice on places to see, their helpfulness and good conversation. The breakfast was delicious and very generous with a wide variety to choose from. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with a massive spa bath, mood lighting and tv. Our stay here has certainly been a highlight of our European trip!"

"We had the most fantastic long weekend at 1 Park Road. The house is immaculate with excellent attention to detail, very comfortable and in a great location. The scenery is spectacular and travelling by bus is incredibly easy from here, but Windermere itself has a great selection of pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants. Hilton is the most wonderful host, we had everything we needed and were very well looked after. He has a wealth of knowledge to share about the area and makes a delicious breakfast!...

"Had a great stay here. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and newly refurbished. Lovely views from the rooms at the rear. Breakfast was really nice with everything grilled and perfect poached eggs. Would come again."
