"Beautiful peaceful old style hotel with a modern twist. Staff are efficient and extremely helpful. Have to mention receptionist Kate. What a beautiful young woman. she was pleasant, kind, nothing was too much fir her. She will make an excellent manager one day. All the staff were lovely. Also duty Manager Cormac who sorted out a few little issues we had without fuss. This was my second time staying at Killashee and return again"

"The hotel is about half a mile outside the village up a private driveway. My room was in the courtyard about 75 yards from the main Manor House. The room was excellent and the breakfast which was served in the main house was very good if a little expensive. Would certainly stay there again."

"Beautiful hotel set in amazing grounds. Very frosty conditions during our stay which added to the overall ambience. Staff very attentive. Food was excellent. We had a lovely dinner in the Hermione restaurant. Breakfast choice very good. Bar was very busy in the evening with just one person serving so it could have been better staffed. Open fire in lounge was a lovely touch but went out early in the evening and there was no one to relight it despite our requests. Shame as it was an extremely cold...

"The property was exceptionally clean, nice, upscale, and had free parking. I also had trouble with not getting the correct converter plug before traveling, and they had just what I needed in the hotel lobby for a reasonable price. Restaurant/bar was a great retreat after an evening out as well. "

"Beautiful hotel, we were there for NYE, food was excellent however, the bar was understaffed and there were no chairs for people to sit after dinner, no staff seem to have the common sense to get chairs for people v odd was there was lots of space for them, a v expensive night away to have no seat seems unbelievable really. "The hotel was very warm throughout it was hard to sleep. The bed was done and the mattress leaned to one side. The food was really bad, we had to send it back. Ordered veg curry and they brought chicken, they changed it and all I got was a watery curry sauce full of onions and the rice was clumped together.
