We arrived just before midnight but the Barman/night porter went up and above to make us feel welcome...So much so what started out as one quick drink turned into three...Even the breakfast staff were fantastic...It appears IHG have to count themselves lucky to have such nice people working for them"

"The Niu is conveniently close to DUS. It cost 17 Euros to get there by taxi from the airport. Check-in was quick and easy, although be aware that you need to pay a city fee separately from the cost of the hotel room. The person tending the bar was very friendly and spoke perfect German and English. Flammkuchen and goulash are available 24/7, so no need to go hungry. While somewhat spartan, rooms were clean, interestingly decorated, and provided some information about visiting Düsseldorf. The...

"The Hotel was good, unfortunately didn't have the bathtub shown in the room pictures, would've picked a different Hotel if I had known. Everything else about the room was O.K., no issues and the furniture was good. The view towards the river was nice. The TV has a very limited channel selection. WIFI was working fine. Didn't hear any noise through the walls. The King-Size Bed only had a single large blanket, didn't like that. The location is only a 10minute car ride away from the city center....

"Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und Künstlerin und im ganzen Haus und auch im großen, traumhaft angelegten Garten finden sich überall ihre Kunstwerke. Man kommt wahrlich aus dem Staunen nicht heraus. Das Haus ist urgemütlich, sehr geräumig und mit Retro-Charme eingerichtet. Das traf unseren Geschmack zu 100%. Wir haben die Ruhe dort sehr genossen und uns sehr gut erholt. Die Umgebung ist sehr gut für Fahrradtouren geeignet."
