"We got such a nice welcome as Sylvette was there to meet us when we got there on our bikes. We had a super cute room with a private entrance since we had our dogs with us. I wished we had more time to explore her antique store than she had on site. We were able to walk to dinner which was close by. Then, of course, we went to the nearby ice cream shop for dessert. "

"We had a pleasant overnight stay in the autumn off-season. Our room and the Inn were very quiet, especially with few other guests. It is an old building with some oddities of slightly sloping/uneven floors. However, this just gave it more character and it seems to fit very well with the Green Gables history of the Cavendish area. "The property was unique. The bed in the main building was very comfortable. I didn't like the shower being in the bunkie and that there was no privacy when entering and exiting the shower. Unfortunately there were many mosquitoes so staying outside at night wasn't possible. The power went off during our stay and we could not find any candles so we drove out to get some. "

"Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "
