"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house and the grounds are beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes... we were able to stay in and cook all our meals there. The smores welcome pack was awesome. We spent most, if not all, of our nights around the fire pit just enjoying nature and lots of smores. There is a huge bathtub in the master bath, my 5 year old niece enjoyed her nightly "swim" (and the tub was never more than half full). We had six people total and had to let the water...

"It’s a lovely spot to unwind and disconnect. The property was impeccably clean, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a drive from Austin, so Bastrop is the best place for food or groceries. There’s no Wi-Fi, making it an ideal retreat from reality. The only downside was that during our stay we heard some loud music from a nearby bar, which was audible from the cabana. It was manageable, but light sleepers might find it a bit disruptive. "My husband and I stayed at The Reserve for a long weekend trip to Austin, Warrenton, and the surrounding areas. The Reserve was a GREAT in-between spot for all of our weekend activities. My ONLY regret was that we had so many other things going on and was unable to spend more time on the property. Jeanne and Bubba were incredible hosts and no detail went attended to. We can NOT wait to return and will be planning our second trip soon! "

"This yurt was exactly what my boyfriend and I needed this past weekend. The pictures of this place do not do it justice, this yurt is practically brand new and very spacious. The owners of this property spared no expense and really thought of everything to include for you! My boyfriend and I stayed here for Formula One weekend, and it was so wonderful to not have the traffic and stress of Austin, only the trees and relaxation of Bastrop. We will definitely be back!"

"I booked this stay as part of an anniversary gift with my SO months in advance (booked June 3rd) for my weekend stay Sept 27-29. We arrived late at night due to traveling 16 hours only to find someone else staying in the unit booked. They guy was super nice but booked for the exact days we did on a different site.
