"Overall we though the place was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures are generally very accurate however the one of the front of the house implies a bit more space than there actually is. Space for one 4x4 (or car). In the Vrbo ad we can't see any suggestion of when the communal pool is open (late June?) so not available in May. There is only a 2or3 seat sofa for a house that sleeps six (as shown in the pictures). The biggest issue for us was the lack of kitchen utensils...

"The house is situated in a beautiful spot with lovely views. The shared pool was nice as we had some good weather and the children enjoyed a splash. The equipment in the house is rather dated and the house was quite dark. Also we are a family of 5 and the house states it sleeps 5 people but it isn’t equipped for 5 people. They could do with some extra crockery, glasses and plates etc. We arrived and the people helping didn’t realize we were a family of 5. So they hadn’t got the bedding for the...

"Bien ubicado par ver cabarceno y el laberinto de villapresente. Tiene espacio al aire libre para que los niños jueguen. Como punto a mejorar, cuidar el tobogan y los juegos de los niños."

"Hemos estado muy agusto, el apartamento esta muy bien, aunque para 5 personas un poquito pequeño, sobre todo el sofa. Pero en general esta muy bien cuidado. Por poner un pero es el olor a madera vieja y humeda que hay. Esta en un pueblo muy tranquilo y pintoresco pero quizas un poco alejado si piensas hacer excursiones por cantabria. "Excellent property. Only drawback would be you can hear upstairs neighbors. Moving chairs, doing laundry, people talking, even dogs crying. Lovely town, easily walkable. "

"Difficult to locate, parking is a long walk away up and down cobble-stone streets, check-in is complicated, the apartment name is not as advertised, the nearby church bells sound on the hour. Given the cost and problems it is not good value for money - better to stay at the nearby Parador. Can fully recommend Santillana."

Lovely 15th century mansion

"This is a beautiful property in a 15th century mansion in a lovely little town. It was great to have private secure parking and the staff was so helpful. The bar was a great little spot and breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant however and only selected options at the bar. We were there in mid-November and restaurant options in town were limited. Overall highly recommended and reasonably priced."
