"A gracious, generous and very helpful host. The beds are super comfortable and bed linen is good quality. The house could have some renovation and some of the bathrooms are a little dated - but it is very clean and everything works well. The garden and pool is charming and is very secluded and quiet. We would return to the area as it is very charming and a good place to visit Cadiz, Jerez, Seville, Ronda, etc (and close to the beaches). Great value for money. "

"Overall this is a beautiful house and garden in a fabulous location close to a natural park (great for bird watching) and La Barrosa beach...both within walking or safe cycling distance. Loads of great cafes and restaurants. Some amenities in the house need attention eg new toaster required, unable to use jacuzzi bath, BbQs need attention. However issues were addressed promptly when we raised these with Paco and Julia and we would all love to come back next year if the property is available."

Everything was great: the house is spaceous for 2 adults, safe and quiet neighborhood, it's just a few minutes drive from the beach and 8 km from Chiclana center. "This was a family event/vacation for eleven people ranging in age from 3 to 77 from different places in Europe and North America. The lovely villa was ideal with pools and beach nearby. It was beautifully equipped with everything for meals and games, etc for children. Our host, Nanette could not have been more helpful or gracious. "

The property is gated and not over looked ensuring we'd plenty of privacy and security. Check in and out with Frank was seemless. We've visited La Barossa before and will definitely return. "

"The location of this property was tranquil and private and we could not have asked for a better setting. There was a cold wind blowing daily which made using the pool and sitting in the lovely grounds impossible. Not expected for the month of May. The oven had only one shelf so not really functional.
