"Beautifully restored site dating to 1490. Great attention to detail in the restoration. Host was excellent and easy to communicate with. It was a joy to stay here!"

"The stay was fine. Very friendly staff etc., and very clean rooms. Just a couple of small criticisms though. 1. There was no hand wash for the basin and 2. the bath gel/shampoo was in those awkward to open little packets! 3. No tea or coffee in the room. On another note. Breakfast, for me, was a no go but this is not a critism as it is only what I have come to expect. Good hotel overall though and we would definitely stay again if passing that way in the future."

"I hope someone from the hotel reads this review because with a few simple changes it could be a hidden gem! The information on this site about the hotel is inaccurate. The use of the pool/spa is not free and in a total seperate building - you require swim hats and is not ideal for children. It is a nice spa with luxourious facilities. "The hotel is in a beautiful location. The staff is very helpful, they went above and beyond. Language is an issue, but it is Spain and we all should try to speak the native tongue. The dinners and breakfasts were very tasty. The hotel caters to an older crowd, this should not disuade anyone. This hotel and its' staff were one of the highlights of my trip through Spain. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the spa is quite lovely."
