ABOUT THE SAND AND THE EVER CHANGING BEACH: In the spring, the tide begins to carry sand in from the ocean and deposit it on the beach. The sand on the beach becomes deeper each week and by late summer can be several feet deep. During the winter, the process is reversed. The tide begins to carry the sand back out to the ocean. At times there can be no sand on the beach exposing the cobble (football sized rocks) that is ordinarily covered by sand. The cobble can be dificult to walk on.

Our stay at Walls of Glass was just perfect.
The house was just as described. The view is incredible we really enjoyed our stay. The location is great a supermarket is nearby also malibu pier and santa monica. The owner was very reliable and helpful he answered all our questions right away. We had a great stay and we are definitely planning on coming again.

Beautiful property in a great location!
Proximity to the best of Southern California with beautiful ocean views. We were visited by Fred the seagull daily, and saw dolphins, sea lions and even a small blue whale right off the balcony! Ate at almost all of the Malibu restaurants and we never had to wait. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and plan to make this an annual vacation spot.

Amazing stay in Malibu
I had an amazing 6 night stay at "walls of glass". Don was very professional and easy to deal with, the house was beautiful, breath-taking views, great location close to Santa Monica and Malibu center. What a view!
We really enjoyed our stay at the "Walls of Glass!" It was very clean and the view was amazing. We routinely saw dolphin and seals right from the deck. We had one small plumbing issue, but the owner came over and fixed it right away. If you want to enjoy the PCH, but still want easy access to LA, this works perfectly.

Don: We greatly enjoyed staying at your Malibu place and wish that it could have been longer, as there are many things that we didn't get around to doing. The unit is beautiful, and was immaculately clean. Parking was easy and I think that the location between Topanga and Malibu Beach was ideal, as access back to LA was easier than if we had been staying further north. We'll be back!

Wow! What a view!
From the moment you walk in the front door, you are blown away with the view; which is spectacular! My husband and I stayed in every night as no restaurant could top our view. We loved hearing the waves crash against the rocks while enjoying the stars above. We found a wonderful cafe (Cafe Marmalade) a few miles down the road that served delicious food, especially the bran infused muffin...yum! Thank you Don for sharing this stunning view with us!

Don,We had an amazing glo...
Don,We had an amazing glorious time. From watching dolphins while we sipped our morning coffee to discovering the out door hot water shower after a very cold session body surfing, we enjoyed every minute. There was so much ocean action that we never even turned on the TVs. I also loved the tide clock. It made it very easy to decide when to take a walk or swim. Thank for the hospitality. We recently stayed here and loved it! We drove in all the way from Austin, TX to stay at The Walls of Glass. Even though our stay was short, we had a wonderful time and spent most of our time on the balcony enjoying the waves wash in while we enjoyed the wonderful Malibu weather. It was really nice being so close to Santa Monica and Venice Beach which we visited while staying at Walls of Glass too. My two kids ages 17 and 10 will enjoy their memories from Walls of Glass for a lifetime as will we! Thanks Don and we look forward to another stay in 2015 if we can get back to California then!

Beautiful views
Very Cute condo and the views were great!! My daughter and I stayed for a week for her to take some classes down the road. The weather didn't let us enjoy the balcony or walking on the beach because it rained almost the whole week. But I am thankful for the much needed rain! The home is on the older side but very clean. It was nice to have access to the washer and dryer in the garage as well. Traffic is busy on that road getting in and out but we managed well. Thanks so much Don!

Our Third Visit in Two Years!
We make an annual summer trip to Malibu and the beach house is always wonderful. Recent bath renovations were a surprising treat and the new furniture was superbly comfortable. We are going for a fourth stay in just a few months -- a wintertime first. Everything about this beach house suits us and we've threatened to barricade ourselves in and never leave. That, however, might get us barred for life and we just can't risk it. Don is a tremendously responsive owner and we've never lacked for anything. Thanks, Don!
