Stay a night (or more!) in our gorgeous 2-bedroom beach apartment just steps to the gorgeous Manhattan Beach shores. With a private balcony for enjoying a morning cup of coffee, or an evening drink, and a thoughtfully designed spacious interior, our home is the perfect perch for you to pause and enjoy all Manhattan Beach has to offer!
The Space:
Our favorite area of this apartment has to be the indoor sitting area by the porch. It's best enjoyed curled up on a chair with the sliding doors open to allow a breeze. It creates this luxurious effect of indoor/outdoor living that spreads to the whole space because of the open floor plan. It also really embraces the uniqueness of the architecture of the home. The stone fireplace that extends to the wood beam ceiling creates an irresistible rustic charm. We embraced the originality of the home throughout our design by contrasting more home-y cozy pieces with a mix of modern design pieces.
Besides the apartment itself; you'll have access to one parking spot & your private porch.
The apartment is walking distance to the beach which features clean sand and gorgeous sparkling water. You will also be walking distance to a plethora of amazing places to eat drink and be merry! Skip on over to our famous restaurants, shops, art galleries and endless entertainment options; rent e-bikes or surfboards, and learn about marine life at the local aquarium, picnic at the local park and enjoy more places to visit detailed in our welcome book upon arrival! Tour the town or just take the time to lay out on the beach and relax, either way Manhattan Beach will not disappoint.

Property Notes:
-This is a non-smoking property, smoking is prohibited in units and on balconies or decks per the Manhattan Beach smoking ordinance. Additionally, the beach and Strand Boardwalk are non-smoking
-We ask that all guests be respectful and courteous to our neighbors. This includes community quiet hours from 10pm-8am daily.
Heating and Cooling: The unit equipped with a portable AC unit in the living room. The unit is also equipped with central forced air heating unit.
Trash Cans: Located in the garage. Place recyclable items into the blue can.
Taxes: Airbnb is currently not able to include the 12% TOT tax (increasing to 14% by the city of Manhattan Beach on July 1st 2023) required by the City of Manhattan Beach. As an alternative you will receive an Airbnb resolution request after booking requesting the TOT tax (applicable to both nightly accommodations & cleaning fee). Guests are required to complete this payment.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance when booking your stay with us as we are not able to provide refunds outside of our cancellation policies.
The Manhattan beach TOT 14% tax on our property is included automatically during guest check out, after July 01, 2023.

Getting Around:
Many locals prefer to walk throughout the city of Manhattan Beach or bike along the coast to explore other beach cities. You'll have access to one on-site parking space.
Other Things to Note:
Cleaning services are conducted prior to guest check-in only. Mid-stay cleanings can be scheduled based upon availability for an additional cleaning fee equal to the cleaning fee initially paid. If you would like to schedule a mid-stay cleaning, please let us know in advance.
No Smoking or Vaping Policy: Please be advised that for the enjoyment of our community, smoking of any type is strictly prohibited in the unit or anywhere on the premises. We reserve the right to charge a penalty cleaning fee ranging from $250 to $500 (based on the size of the unit) to any individual found smoking. This policy is enforced to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all guests and neighbors. Thank you for your cooperation.
Reminder: We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee if the property is found to be excessively dirty after check-out. This fee starts at $250 and may increase depending on the time and cleaning supplies required by our cleaners.

We are unable to accept early check-in requests including those for last-minute bookings. We will accept your request to book, but the standard check-in time for this unit will apply.
We also have a handheld steamer to fulfill your ironing requirements.
Community Quiet Hours are in effect daily from 10 PM to 8 AM. All guests are required to comply at all times. The general quiet enjoyment for our neighbors should also be respected outside of these hours. Any complaints received from building management or neighbors regarding noise disturbances may result in booking cancellation. Our cancellation policy will be strictly upheld in such cases.
We kindly request that you refrain from sending mail or deliveries to our property, as we neither have a mailbox nor provide access for such items. For packages, please direct them to the nearest post office for collection. For food deliveries, please make sure to meet the delivery person to confirm that you received the order. Please note that we accept no responsibility for any lost or misplaced deliveries.
