Very unsafe area. We had to wait outside to check in because i think the employee was sleeping. He was very rude and we didnt end up staying for many reasons. Dirty and unsafe were the top reasons.
It was a good experience everything went very smoothly. I asked if the room would be available earlier and it was given to me right when I arrived! The only bad thing I would say is the A/C didn’t work.
Was close location and convenient to the LA Convention Center and a place to rest, shower and sleep. Had an issue with the refrigerator not working so the owner and his son replaced it right away.
The window in the bathroom did not lock, making it unsafe to stay in. The room smelled horrible and there were stains all over the bed. The furniture was broke. The room overall was dirty. We did not end up staying.
We booked hoping they had improved. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed one because found a bed bug in a "clean, fresh" sheets we requested after we had already stayed one night.
Room was massive. But blanket was a sheet. Asked for a 20 dollar cash deposit for my room key to bought it was weird but I did get it back. Paid 140 dollars for the room which I thought was highway robbery for the location. But that is my only complaint.
This was one of the worst experiences while trying to celebrate my honeymoon. First the staff was extremely rude with very limited communication skills. I was treated at the check in window as if they were doing me a favor. There was some kind of mix up with my payment information. I believe it was conveniently not processed onlive so that I would be charged more at the window with at the time of check-in with limited resources. The room was below satisfactory with stained sheets dirty towels and roach droppings in various areas of the room. I also requested a non-smoking and handicap access suite, but not until I arrived was I notified about the lack in accomodations. What was suppose to be nice getaway for my wife and myself turned out to be a night of disappointment and disaster. I believe the Expedia in association with the regal motel worked together in cat fishing me into taking my business to a hotel that If not for Expedia I would of never have chosen.
