I absolutely loved this stay! Beautiful property. We took the free Passport bus into downtown for food as the restaurant options were pricey and the selection was limited. They offered a free (tip your driver) shuttle to the cruise port. Overall a great experience and I would recommend the stay!

This is a unique property. I loved the view of the water and the fire pits around the property grounds were very relaxing, especially on a cold night in January. The staff was awesome. If you’re looking for a relaxing staycation or a pre-cruise option, the Hotel Maya is for you.

Normally dont like rooms that open to the outside but this was ok. Rooms were nice size but a little dated with popcorn ceilings, worn wallpaper and chipped paint on furniture. The view was great and you can walk along the water to the Queen Mary. It must be fun in the summer with the jetskis, little beach setup, firepits and outdoor dining. January it was a little empty.

The hotel and staff were nice. The brought extra towels when requested. Our toilet did not work. It is not walkable to other food or amenities, you just have to get transportation. The shuttle to cruise ship was very nice.

One female front desk staff member was very rude. The housekeeping staff was rude, stingy with their towels (room occupies 4, only 2 towels given, dirty looks because we wanted the other 2 towels), male housekeeper just walked into our room without knocking and well before checkout time. I will not stay here again.

I was unaware ,due to the property images online, that this hotel consists of 4 buildings so getting a water view doesn’t mean it’s overlooking their properties beach area. Ours was overlong looking the water alright and directly at a bridge so not to special. If I’d know this I would’ve stayed somewhere else nicer for the price i was charged.

Very nice staff. Lovely views of Long Beach and the Queen Mary. Great for a local run. Great pool and lounges. And rooms have excellent views of the water. A great urban escape for locals even.
