The second I entered the hotel there was a damp and mildewy smell throughout. The hotel did not have an elevator, so I had to climb two sets of stairs with my luggage to get to the front lobby. The parking was behind the alleyway, so I did not feel safe after parking my car and walking back to the hotel. The 1st room I stayed in smelled like a sewer, so I asked to be moved. The 2nd room was very noisy between the pipes and the loud noise the AC unit made. The fire alarm above the bed kept beeping all night and there was some sort of drilling happening outside the hotel room at 2am in the morning. The furniture and walls were dirty and stained. I chose this property due to great reviews on Expedia, which I now feel were fake since I had the opportunity to see the property with my own eyes. The only reason I didn't leave was because I got in at 10:30pm and was there for the night. I will never stay at this property again. Please think twice before booking a room at the Brand Plaza Hotel. It's a total dump!!

The cotton bed linens were very comfortable. (That was a huge positive). The pipes from other rooms' plumbing were extremely noisy. (A negative). The arrangement of the furniture in our room was inconvenient and deserved much more rational placement. (Baffling).

It was a walkable distance from different places I wanted to visit. I stayed for three nights and couldn't sleep at all because it was very nosy. You could heard the people next door talking, snoring and flushing the toilet. The AC announces when it would start by a loud bang every 10 minutes. My room was in need of repair as the walls were dirty in cartain areas and with holes. I guess since it was a 'historic hotel' it may be difficult to 'fix' certain aspects. The areas outside were very clean, felt safe and lots of places to eat.

This is a great hotel in Glendale close walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I love staying here, the service is great, it's very clean, and cozy like home. The price isn't bad either. There is parking available for 8 bucks a night which is a steal for the area. I would warn that there isn't a elevator, I don't mind because there is only 2 floors. Staying here for the holidays is great because the Americana mall has all the holiday vibes and it's close by.

This hotel strikes a balance between old-school charm and modern comfort. While the décor has a classic feel, the bed is comfortable, and the furniture is well-maintained. The bathroom is fairly updated and equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, the biggest drawback is the lack of elevators, which makes it less accessible for individuals with disabilities or health concerns and can make carrying luggage a hassle. Despite this, I felt safe throughout my stay and was overall satisfied. The bed and linens were exceptionally cozy, though the towels could have been a bit softer.
