This Grand House is for the ultimate Beach Living! Beautiful Walnut wood floor throughout the entire house is SOLID sealed with non-toxic sealant. Huge Kitchen has plenty of counter space, equipped with top named European appliances (Subzero, Thermador, Miele, etc), perfect for the family cooking and entertainment. Enjoy sitting areas while enjoying indoor gas fireplace for large family gatherings. Huge front deck with head-on ocean view is for sunbathing and sunset watching. This grand house offers memorable experiences with true 5 star amenities! . Arcadia is a walking street.. no car access, steps on Arcadia gate going thru the beach.

This fantastic home is located on the famous Santa Monica Beach. The front street is the one and only PRIVATE walk street in Santa Monica, having locked gates at the both ends. t is just a few steps to the Beach, Boardwalk, restaurants, Santa Monica pier, park, train, and boutique shops. Truly the best location surrounded by 5 star hotels!

We provided one beach lot parking permit and it is not a reserve spot, fist come, first serve.
Bedroom layout
We have 5 large bedrooms, three with a California kingsize bed, main bedroom on the 3rd floor with a large patio. Two bedrooms with a queen size bed.

Tv is located in the first floor living room next to the kitchen and bedroom on the south side.
We have central AC thermostat locked to 72 -76 degrees.
We do not allow gathering or parties. We are happy to share our house with you! Laundry room in service.

Lovely Property for Families & Friends

The house was roomy and well-appointed with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. The location could not be better. Steps away from the beach, dining and shopping. It was the perfect spot for my family to gather for a wedding in Malibu.

We had an amazing stay at the beach house! Luhanda is a great host, always available when needed. Everything is very well organized from the parking to the surf board and bikes for the kids! The bedding is just the more comfortable I have ever slept in!!! The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach and down town. I really recommend this house, where you feel like home!!

Such a unique and fun house to stay in, our family loved it. The property location was right in the middle of everything that we needed. A couple of the photos of the property should probably be updated, but besides that it was everything we wanted and more!

Unbeatable location, clean house, kitchen is fully equipped. Very easy check in process. Recommended for all ages groups. There was even a high chair for our toddler. Would go back again.

Perfect location - wonderful host

We had our long-awaited family reunion with 7 adults and one child in this huge house steps from the beach. The location was ideal, the house was great - plenty of room for everyone. Luhanda is an excellent host, she was very responsive answering my many questions right away. We will come back here!

Prime location!

8 adults, 4 days in Santa Monica. Location was perfect. The private walkway is safe, house is close to beach and the pier. Walkable to great restaurants and sites. House is rustic with a modern touch in the kitchen. We loved the Miele espresso machine. Luhanda is an awesome host. Super responsive, delivering any needs in a timely manner. Definite recommend and would repeat stay.

Mostly Great!!

Overall, it was a great experience and we made a lot of great memories in this house! Our only two considerations would be: - Unable to access main thermostat to change the temperature; Was hot at night. - It is definitely in a busy area; At night the pier was a bit bright and loud.Which we knew as we were renting this house. But, it wouldn’t be the best if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. But, all things considered, we were very happy with the rental!

Amazing home, great location

The home was amazing and the location couldn’t be beat. They should invest in better kitchen staples, for a house this size the kitchen was lacking (not enough plates/glassware, no mixing bowls, no griddle, etc). A few basics would go a long way.

Construction issues

The house itself is beautiful on a private walkway street very close to the beach. However, there was construction on the lot directly in front of the house from 8:00am - 6:00pm all week; we were unable to use any of the magnificent patios nor could we open the windows due to the noise. The bulldozers were less than 5 feet from the windows of our house and it blocked the view to the beach. Extremely disappointing as this was never disclosed and when we asked about it upon our arrival we were continually told it would only be for a few hours in the morning and each day was the 'last' day of construction. We finally spoke to the construction foreman who was upfront with us; he even paid for a dinner at a spectacular Italian restaurant called Capo's for our entire party! If you are looking for a place to be able to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view this is not the place while they are building. Other than that, the agent was very responsive, it was close to the beach, rooms were spacious, etc.

Lovely Locale

The house is 100 years old and beautiful----clean, roomy, and filled with everything one might need for a great stay. The owner is terrific and very responsive. The only issue---the picture in the ad is misleading. There is no ocean view off the front porch as the picture indicates---the home next door is under construction and the view is blocked. There is a partial view off the third floor balcony which is nice, but if you're looking for sweeping views of the ocean, this isn't the place. Otherwise, it's lovely and walking distance to all the best that Santa Monica has to offer.

Surprise visitor walked into house on Christmas Morning

The worst thing was that friends of the owner walked right in with their own key on Christmas morning. The construction going on next door, which also blocks the ocean view, was pretty annoying, too. The fancy Miele coffee machine didn't work. It even had a note taped on the front saying broken and I had made a point of asking if they had a good one before we went. We would have brought our own. The last two frustrating things were 1) the window banging all night long in the top bedroom (which couldn't be closed no matter how hard we tried) and 2) the roof leaking in the office area, which we needed to use quite a bit for work. Pass this one up until they get some of these issues fixed.

Perfect Location

Travelling with Family including a 5 year old.. GREAT LOCATION! Very short walk to the Santa Monica Pier, beach, etc. About 10-15 minute walk to downtown Santa Monica including the Promenade. Great/Fast communication with host!

Great location needs some updates

The location is fantastic! The owner was very helpful of our needs. The home Does need some repairs/updates. The ice maker in the refrigerator does not work and the oven door will not shut all the way. The owner got someone over to fix it but parts etc are needed so he could not fix while we were there. Their is construction going on next door and they were there every other day working. You still can see the beach some....but not a full view as this house had at one time. What we liked was the location and lots of room to spread out. The pier was closed while we were there but it is close and easy to walk to. You can see the pier from the house and the Ferris wheel lights up at night! You can not park at the house but that is how parking is in LA area. We figured it out and it isn’t too difficult. Unload in the hotel parking lot then go Park in the parking lot which is a short walk.

Wrongfully marketed

Sadly, we had a very disappointing and frustrating ‘stay’ at this location. Upon arrival (which we had rented the home for a full week) we were given a run around by the owner as to where we could park and unload in a hotel parking lot near the house (no parking at the home) and the hotel told us we could not park in their parking lot for unloading purposes. We got into the home that was advertised with A/C..IT DOES NOT! It has one wall unit in a room off of the kitchen, that’s it! The home was dirty and several appliances including the fridge were not operable (called they owner she sent some neighbor over who gave us a run around about how he felt the fridge was cool, we stored our perishables in the freezer). After unpacking and finding we felt we needed to clean the home and purchase new sheets (ewww) we decided to contact VRBO and leave the location because it was not what was advertised. And don’t get me started on your entire view being taken up by scaffolding of the new beach house being built (noisy and smelly process) 4’ away from the porch. We didn’t even stay one night here and were in contact with the owner throughout our 5 hours of frustratioN being in the house in which we have not been refunded. I can’t recommend this home to anyone because it would be misleading and frustrating to come to a beach vacation and find yourself disappointed and disgusted.
